Booking Policies

To find out about availability of any excursion we recommend sending an email and one of our agents will respond within the next 24 hours. In order to process your order in the most efficient way possible, please do not forget to include the name of the desired excursion or service in general, as well as the date you want to perform the service, the number of participants and the point or city where You want to start the service. In case you have any additional questions or doubts, do not hesitate to ask, we are always at your service to answer any questions you may have.

Once you have chosen a program, read the terms and conditions as your reservation is subject to the terms listed below. The payment of reservations for any program or tour of OLAYA TOURS PERU will constitute consent to all provisions of the Terms and Conditions of the Reserve established in this document and is mandatory for all tours.


The program can change according to the meteorological and fluvial conditions, as well as the desires of the group.

OLAYA TOURS PERU is not responsible for any loss or damage to the client’s personal belongings or the consequences due to loss or damage.

We can not assume responsibility for any illness or accident that may occur. If you get sick or an accident occurs, the responsibility and associated costs fall on the customer.

The client declares that he is physically and mentally fit. OLAYA TOURS PERU is not responsible for the consequences if this is not the case.

Please understand that you are booking a tour to the rainforest. Please note that we can not provide the comfort you will find in a city hotel (internet, hot water, electricity).

Booking Procedures (Deposit)

Make any payment! 25% deposit per person for the chosen program is requested at the time of booking. This deposit is not refundable in case of cancellation by the client. We confirm the reservation. Please note that travel arrangements are not confirmed until expressly stated in writing by OLAYA TOURS PERU.

This pre-payment of 25% can be made through Western Union or online payments with VISA. The transfer will be made on behalf of the staff of OLAYA TOURS PERU. You will not pay any bank tax and transfer fees, but all transfer costs must be paid by the customer.

Payment of the final balance

The price of the program is in US dollars. We ask you to pay your final balance in our office at least 24 hours before your tour. We currently accept cash (Peruvian soles or US dollars) and Visa (we charge 8% commission).

The price of the program per person is agreed at the time of confirmation of the reservation and will not increase or decrease.

Cancellation by you

In case of cancellation by the client, it must be notified in writing to OLAYA TOURS PERU. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. State the reason for the cancellation as it may be covered by your insurance policy.

If notice of cancellation is received more than 15 days prior to departure, the client will forfeit the deposit. 15 to 2 days before departure, 50% of the tour price will be refunded. Less than 48h before departure, no money will be returned, also in case of cancellation of only part of the tour.

Cancellation / changes by us

Circumstances beyond our control: technical problems, climatic conditions, strikes, disturbances and decisions of governments.

In such cases OLYAYA TOURS PERU will propose solutions to operate the program or comparable travel arrangements but will not refund money. We reserve the right to modify the itinerary programmed accordingly. We will make every reasonable effort to provide you with the reserved program arrangements, but changes may occur.

Cancellations made by OLAYA TOURS PERU: we will refund 100% of your payment.

Acceptance of risk

Some of the itineraries OLAYA TOURS PERU Therefore, they involve an element of personal risk, which could result in physical or emotional injuries, paralysis, death or damage to the client, his property or third parties. Tour Authority

At all times the decision of the guide or representative of the company will be final in all matters that could endanger the safety and well-being of the group. You have to follow the instructions in the guide at all times.

The client must at all times strictly comply with Peruvian drug laws and regulations. If the customer does not comply with the above, or if the customer interferes with the well-being of the group, then the guide or company representative can order the customer to leave the tour without any refund.

Travel documents

The client must carry a valid passport. The original document or at least one copy has to be taken on the tour.

Travel insurance

We strongly advise you to obtain travel insurance that covers accidents, medical expenses and emergency repatriation, including rescue and air ambulances. We also recommend that you cover cancellations and lost luggage.

Thirdparty services

OLAYA TOURS PERU directly operates part of the services included in a program, but also makes arrangements with airlines, hotels and other independent parties to provide the travel services it purchases.

OLAYA TOURS PERU can not assume any responsibility for damages, damages, inconveniences, delays, etc.

Complaints and Complaints

If a customer has a complaint against the company, the customer must first inform the guide while on the tour so that the guide can try to rectify the matter. Any other complaints must be made in writing to the company within 7 days after the end of the trip.

Any liability is limited to the total price paid for the tour. In all cases, the company specifically excludes any liability for indirect, incidental or consequential losses or expenses, including loss of profits.
